How to appeal your property assessment in Nova Scotia
In Nova Scotia, PVSC assesses every property every year at its value on January 1 of the previous year, and mailed the 2026 notices on January 12, 2026. - Deadlines and fees from Property Valuation Services Corporation (PVSC) and the appeal bodies, checked November 1, 2026. The date on your own notice always wins.
